The Exhaust System

When it comes to the V8 VP we recommend two options for a new exhaust system. You can go for either a single 3 inch cat back sport system or a dual 2.5 inch cat back sports system. However, the dual system will only be available if your VP has independent rear suspension (IRS).

Both systems will come with a straight throw sports performance muffler. They will both create a great new flow which will improve the performance of your car. The key difference is the sound they produce.

The single 3 inch system will give a good deep note. You will get a
smooth note that will give a good grunt under acceleration.

The dual 2.5 inch system will give you a great new grunt. This system is
sure to be a head turner. It will be loud but we can keep the sound down if you prefer to be quieter.

The Extractors

Fitting a set of extractors will give you more power. These extractors also have the potential to improve your fuel economy and engine efficiency under normal driving conditions. Pacemaker Headers are the top of the range and therefore the most popular choice of extractors.

The Hi-Flow Cat Converter

You may consider replacing your stock standard cat converter with one of our hi-flow cats. Our hi-flow cats have a greater surface area than regular cats and therefore encourage a better flow of gases from the engine, and less restriction.
