Holden Commodore VT-VZ V8 Range (including HSV)
The Exhaust System
When it comes to the VT- VZ V8 range of Commodores, we recommend either a single 3 inch cat back sport exhaust system or a dual 2.5 inch cat back sports exhaust system. The key difference between the systems is the sound.
Single 3 inch System
The single 3 inch system will give a good deep note without being too loud. This is a great option if you just want a slight increase in the sound without turning too many heads. The bigger pipe will allow a better flow of gases from the engine and subsequently improve the performance of your car.
Dual 2.5 inch System
The dual 2.5 inch system will give you a true V8 grunt. This system is sure to be a head turner and the most popular choice of both the systems. It will be significantly louder than the single 3 inch system but we have various techniques to get the sound down if you want it a bit quieter. As with the single 3 inch system, the larger pipes will encourage a greater flow of gases from the engine allowing it to breathe better and improve performance.
Both system are available in mild and stainless steel, and with mandrel bends. You will also be able to pick out a stainless steel or chrome end to finish the system off in syle.
The Extractors
Fitting a set of extractors will give your car more power. These extractors also have the potential to improve your fuel economy and engine efficiency under normal driving conditions. We believe that Pacemaker Headers are the top of the range when it comes to these V8 Commodores and that is why they are our first and most popular choice.
Hi-flow Cat converter
You may consider replacing your standard cat converter with one of our own hi-flow cats, but we feel that the system can be just as effective maintaining your existing cat converter.
The Chrome End/Tailpipe
To finish the system of in style you will be able to make your selection of exhaust tips from our large range of chrome and stainless steel tips.
